Long Story Long

What's Good! I am the founder of Mirror Burger, Michael, who is obsessed with nutrition because of my easy-to-get-fat nature and weight-lifting hobby. At the same time, I can't live without bread, and my girlfriend? BURGERS. Connect the dot for me thanks. ​ I started to think are fast food, in particular, burgers, really unhealthy? If not, why we have such an impression? If so, is there any ways to alter them? So I started to not only do researches online, but also online courses from Coursera. Acquired some certs aside, I also realised that not the ingredients, but the way they prepare (you know which I am referring to), is making the food ultra unhealthy. For instance, why their buns almost do not expire? Artificial preservatives. See, frozen berries are always cheaper than the fresh ones. Let's skip it or else it would become a lecture. ​ So let's create burgers me and my alike can enjoy - mouth-watering, high protein but not lack of dietary fibres, with a price point that does not empty our pockets. I am tired of consuming boiled food, skimmed milk, raw nuts, chicken breasts etc. already. ​ I quitted my 9-6 job, and worked at different bakeries. I then met a talented Le Cordon Bleu chef who has experiences in multiple Michelin-starred restaurants sharing the same view. DANG! Let's do it baby!

As a weightlifter, our founder pays exceptional attention to nutrition, and its source variety. We are confident that our food is more nutritional than most in the market. For instance, we make sure the veggies in the burger are as thick as the patty. Are French fries unhealthy? Try renkon chips which have double dietary fibre. Feeling vegetarian? Go for our veggie burgers with a good amount of proteins.
